Amethysts are amazing gems
I love the cool deep and clear purple color.

Mines in Uruguay, Brazil are producing the purples w fine red rutile needles giving those red pops. Gorgeous.

Amethyst is proof that price and rarity isn't it all... Such a beautiful gem.
I think Amethyst is one of the most beautiful gemstones in all its color range from lilac to deep purple. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful stone in the world.Amethyst (a-not methyst-drunk) was a Greek word referencing the fact that amethyst goblets would appear to contain wine when filled with just water.
