I love my squirrels, bunch of fuzzy tree ninjas. They reconize me and my voice. Will stand on my foot, eat from my hand and hold ny fingers. So Special.Like Mourinho) Aside from the fact that I find everything about the way they look adorable, I think the things I love about squirrels the most are their incredible intelligence ( have remarkable memories & are never anything less than determined), their natural curiosity (not to mention the look they get on their faces when they’re checking out something interesting for the first time ), their fearless courage (they’re such a target for predators, yet they’ll still approach something as intimidating as a human, plus the leaps they’ll happily take from tree to tree are literally death defying) & their amazing & unique physical characteristics that make them such fantastic climbers (I’m sure I’ve read & heard it multiple times that the joints in their back legs are unique in the animal kingdom & can rotate to allow them to be in complete control when descending anything they climb forwards). The fact that they’re also able to (& seem to enjoy) forging relationships with people who take the time to earn their trust is also pretty beautiful & endearing. What's not to love )
