There's some things we can’t live without
A man’s so prone to doubt
Faithful are the wounds of friends
So give it just a little time
Share some bread and wine
Weave your heart into mine
My friend ... come on let’s talk a while...

Glenn Herbert Gould & Yehudi Menuhin, Baron Menuhin
Glenn Gould. So fragile . So unique. So humble. With his little chair . I love watching and listening to him. He was divinely gifted.
And Best of the best Violin player Yehudi Menuhin!

When you reach a certain point in your life, Ningen Isu finds you. They cannot be found otherwise. These gentlemen went to such prestigious colleges that had a very good chance of getting jobs at prestigious employers. But then, they picked to play music instead. Probably because of their intelligence, they realized that happiness was much more valuable in the long run than working for some "prestigious" a-hole and living a life of stress and misery as a result. 1780s japanese buddist monk, 1880s Meiji period scholar, 1980s yakuza in one video. This band sings about wanting a light shone on them yet they are the lightsource. They're not afraid to use silence as part of their music. I think the philosophical meanings of the song are prone to listener confabulation hence interpretations will differentiate from person to person, an unavoidable liability. I love Ningen Isu!
