One half lb. of butter= 1/2 lb butter is 225 g, or one cup., 2 teacups of sugar, 6 eggs, one pint of molasses, 6 teacups of flour, i1 teacup of cream, i teaspoon of soda dissolved in the cream, ginger, cinnamon and other spices to the taste, 1 wineglass of brandy.
