St George’s Castle. Built by the Portuguese in 1482, it was captured by the Dutch 150 years later and became the headquarters of their West Indies Company for the following 250 years.

The stark beauty of the white-washed Castle walls contrast deeply with the dark history of this place.

Mermaids could be real... 90% of ocean creatures have not been found...If they are real I hope that they remain far from all humans, and live happily. We humans can be the real monsters and that's not opinion, that's a fact.

They do exist. My 92 year old grandfather told me about his encounter with one. Still talked about today.

I agree.
My grandmother use to say that, mermaids are real and attractive, she said that she hasn't seen one but she believed it, I also believed it, but my grandmother said, never expand your imagination about mermaids, people nowadays expand their imaginations about mermaids too much, thats why people think that mermaids are impossible to exist in the world, because if you expand your imagination too much, it would be unvielibable. I love you grandma.

I'm african my neighbor said never to trust mermaids as they would pull you into a trap if your family cried you'd be transformed into one forever if they didn't cry you'd be sent back to from where you came but you'd have powers like a witch.
I thought it was made up but I'm starting to rethink )
